Meetings of the full Town Council are open to the public and press unless the business to be transacted is of a private or confidential nature. (Local Government Admissions to Meetings (Public Bodies) Act 1960 and Local Government Act 1972, ss 10A to 100K: and ACA 1998, s10)
Meetings are usually held at 7 p.m. in the Upper Hall of the Town Hall Building, High Street, Northallerton on the third Monday of each month, with the exception of August when there are no meetings.
