Following the interviewing process Cllr Eames made the following statement:
It is a great pleasure to announce that Alex has accepted the role of Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer on a permanent basis, commencing 20th September.
I’m sure you will agree that this is great news for Northallerton Town Council. Alex has done some excellent work over the last nine months as Locum Clerk and I am confident that she will make an even bigger contribution in a permanent role. I am sure we all are looking forward to welcoming Alex on 20th September.
Alex said this in her reply, 'I am looking forward to us all working together for the benefit of the Town'.
