Post Box Polish

The unveiling of a knitted letter box cover from this morning with Cllr Phil Eames (Town Mayor) and Nicki Hall from the Northallerton Royal Mail Sorting Office. The knitted cover was the winning design from a competition amongst year 3 and 4 pupils at the Alverton School, organised by Nicki. There were nearly 40 entries with Cllr Eames picking this as the winner due to the capturing of important features of the High Street with the Love Northallerton heart representing the businesses (BID). Well done to all involved!
