Hambleton Heroes Award

Malcolm Rowell, Northallerton Town Councils Head Caretaker, was presented with a Hambleton Heroes award at the meeting of the Council on Monday 13th December by the leader of Hambleton District Council Cllr Mark Robson. 

Malcolm was nominated for the award for his efforts throughout the pandemic in keeping the public toilets in the Town Hall open and hygienic.

Cllr Phil Eames, Mayor said " Malcolm has worked tirelessly to ensure the public toilet facilities in the Town Hall have remained open as much as possible during the COVID19 pandemic and are clean and safe for all who use them. This award is well deserved, we are proud to have Malcolm as part of our team."
